Fishing Report June 15th 2025
Mike with a great rainbow trout that took a nymph on a sunny afternoon!
Trout fishing has been consistent as of late. With the cooler than normal spring we’ve been experiencing, water temps have been in the mid to low 60s keeping our trout happy. Although our water temps have been favorable, we could use a good shot of rain to bring our water levels up a bit. Swinging wet flies, nymphing under an indicator and dry fly fishing have all had their moments the past couple weeks. Isonychia’s, caddis fly’s and small minnow patterns have had lots of attention certain times of the day.
We will be transitioning into smallmouth fishing as we get closer to July! There are a few openings on the guide calendar through the next couple months if you wish to get out on the water. It is never to late to get on the books for our fall salmon and steelhead season! I hope everybody had a great Fathers Day Weekend! -Capt. Ross
